What to expect
The „quantum-resistant cryptography“ group within the satellite networks department deals with the development and analysis of cryptographic schemes, that enable secure communication in the age of powerful quantum computers. In particular, we develop and extend code-based cryptosystems, efficient en- and decryption algorithms as well as new methods for cryptanalysis. Join us in shaping the future of quantum-resistant cryptosystems and be responsible for the following topics.
Your tasks
- Analysis of the security of quantum-resistant encryption schemes with regard to quantum-assisted cryptanalytic methods
- Literature review of existing quantum-resistant encryption schemes
- Analysis of the security of coding-based encryption schemes using various metrics, such as the Lee metric, the sum-rank metric or the skew metric
- Analysis of the security of lattice-based encryption schemes
- Publication of results in scientific journals and at international conferences
