With its know-how and expertise in passive and active microwave remote sensing, the Microwaves and Radar Institute contributes to the development and advancement of ground-based, airborne and spaceborne sensors.

 

What to expect

The SAR Technology department is primarily engaged in the development, operation and data processing of the Institute's airborne SAR systems, as well as in resarch in the areas of high precision SAR focusing and image analysis.

 

Your tasks

  • Development of an experimental setup to analyze phase errors in transmitarray antennas
  • Design of a suitable transmitarray antenna
  • Implementation of the control circuitry
  • Documentation of the results

 

Your profile

  • First experience in high frequency engineering or antenna engineering
  • Experience in designing PCBs is beneficial
  • Knowledge of state-of-the-art EM solvers such as HFSS or CST is beneficial
  • good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
