The tasks include scientific research in the field of Artificial Intelligence for Earth observation as well as the initiation, implementation and management of scientific and innovative projects. The tasks to be worked on consist on the one hand in own scientific research on the implementation of earth observation use cases on integrated quantum computers. On the other hand, this is to be implemented in the EU-funded EUROHPCQ integration project “LUMI-Q”. In this project, a quantum computer will be connected to the LUMI data center in Finland and other data ceters across Europe. We will test and further develop the software created during the HPC-QC integration for the use cases we have developed in the field of Earth observation.
