What to expect
In the Department of Process Optimisation and Digitalisation at the DLR Institute of Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul you will find a dynamic team of scientists. We research and develope new concepts for a digitalised maintenance of tomorrow. This includes e.g. digital twins, methods for data analysis and condition monitoring and prediction, new approaches for an automated interaction of stakeholders, AI methods as well as methods for a dynamich process modelling and simulation.
Your tasks
Today, Aircraft digital knowledge can be found in various data sources, e.g. maintenance records, and maintenance manuals. In order to make this knowledge accessible, it must be prepared and linked together. You will support the development of an AI-based defect management system for the aircraft maintenance industry by creating end-to-end AI solutions from text mining to deploying a domain-specific virtual assistant using state-of-the-art tools and techniques.
Your profile
- ongoing Master's degree study in computer science, data science or a comparable degree program

experience with Python and ML frameworks

familiarity with MLOps, LLMOps (Docker, Git, CI/CD)

knowledge of NLP, text analytics, OCR tools, LLM APIs, RAG, Langchain

language skills: German and English
