Your tasks
- Support in developping the heat integration (HI) functionality for our Python-based TEA and LCA tool, and create an intuitive and user-friendly graphical user interface (GUI).
- Responsiblity for designing the HI functionality based on the process simulation results, with which grand composite curves can be graphically presented and pinch analysis can be carried out.
- Close collaboration with chemical process engineers to understand user requirements and translate them into functional and visually appealing GUI components to conduct HI.
Your qualification
- Student in computer science, process engineering, chemical engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Python programming and profound object-oriented programming skills.
- Experience in GUI development, preferably with Streamlit or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with chemical process engineering, HI, TEA and LCA concepts is a plus, but not required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
